As part of ThinManager 3.0 (TM3) ACP released a companion ActiveX that can be used to pull data from and send commands to any ThinManager Ready Thin Client.
Once the control (called termmon.ocx) is registered on the Terminal Server it can be embedded in almost any HMI or SCADA application. When the ActiveX control is enabled it will pull data and statistics into the program for display. This data includes:
• Terminal Name
• Terminal IP Address
• Terminal MAC Address
• Firmware Version
• Boot Loader Version
• User Name
• Terminal Server Name
• Terminal Server Group Name
The ActiveX can be used to send commands to the client, such as:
• Restart
• Reboot
• Calibrate Touch Screen
• Switch Instant Failover Sessions
• Switch Terminal Server Group Sessions
When using our new TermSecure product with ThinManager 3.0 even more features are available:
• Show TermSecure User
• Launch Main Menu
• Switch TermSecure Users
• Logoff TermSecure Users
Below is a screenshot of a simple demo application that uses this ActiveX control.

This demo app shows the information available from the ActiveX control and displays Thin Client parameters, TermSecure User information, and has navigation and command buttons that interact with the session.
