ThinManager User's Group

On the second through the fourth of May, 2004, a core group of ACP users sent representatives to Atlanta where they adopted bylaws and elected officers, marking the official start of the ThinManager User's Group.

Some of the ideas that these users proposed as benefits of membership in the group:

A Thin Client Hardware Library, hosted by ACP, that contains the latest ACP Enabled hardware. User's Group members will be able to check out equipment to evaluate and test at their location. Lobbying Force with ACP, HMI companies and hardware manufacturers. Individual users frequently have a difficult time getting the attention of product suppliers, but things change when they come together. Future User's Group meetings will have developers and upper level management of companies like Wonderware and Advantech available for you to talk with directly and in person. Beta releases of software, both ThinManager and special modules before official release. Direct discussions with ACP software developers about the future direction of ACP's products. Chapters that focus on special application software, such as Wonderware and Intellution, made up of users well versed in the particular application. Access to application stories and implementation strategies not available outside of the group.

Please not that distributors and vendors are not allowed as members of the group (not even ACP employees), although they may be invited to participate from time to time. Also while full membership in the group is limited to companies who have activated ThinManager licenses, potential customers are welcome to participate to learn more about Thin Clients and ACP's technology.
