WinTMC is a Windows fat client program that can be installed on a traditional computer. When the program is launched, it will connect to ThinManager, recieve its configuration, and connect to a terminal server and start a session. WinTMC has a major advantage over the traditional RDP client in that the WinTMC is controlled and configured in ThinMaanger and has the properties of an ACP ThinManager Ready Thin Client, including the ability to use failover, instant failover, terminal server groups, SmartSession, and MultiSession.
Note: Do not install the WinTMC client on the ThinManager Server.
The installation of the WinTMC client is similar to the setup of ThinManager. See ThinManager installation for a more detailed Tech Note.
