ThinManager communicates with the defined terminal servers. The status of this communication, as displayed in ThinManager, is useful in troubleshooting connection issues.
The connection between ThinManager and the terminal servers can be displayed by highlighting the Terminal Servers branch in the ThinManager tree.

Terminal Servers - Status Tab
Highlighting the ThinManager Servers branch of the tree will display the status of the ThinManager to Terminal Server Connection. The Connection Status of the ThinManager Server may have different messages:
ThinManager needs permission to pull the data into ThinManager. This is configured in the Terminal Server List Wizard. This will eliminate the No login information supplied and User specified does not have permission to connect messages on the Status tab.
Launch the Terminal Server List Wizard by selecting ThinManagerServer> Server List Management> Terminal Server List in the menu. Navigate to the Terminal Server Name page.

Terminal Server Name Page
Enter an administrative account in the User Name field and the password in the Password fields. If the terminal server is in a domain, enter the name of the domain in the Domain field.
The Finish button will become available when the passwords match.
When this is done properly , ThinManager will be able to communicate with the terminal server, and the Status will change to OK on the Status tab for the Terminal Servers.
